Amazing!!

I've never owned a pair of socks so thick and warm!! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis so I really suffer from cold feet and bones, these socks really have helped me over the cold winter we've experienced. No need for multiple pairs of socks now I own these! And the feather top is so pretty 😍

Thank you for taking the trouble to leave feedback for your socks and sorry to hear of the issue.

Due to the extensive brushing technic used to create the plush lining of the socks there can be some loose fibres left inside the socks. These should wash out after a couple of washes.

There's good and bad...

My MIL is delighted with her socks, but given that the order was placed 21 days ago and she only just received her socks, I think there are lessons to learn. As a company I would strongly recommend reviewing your courier. The courier did not deliver the socks the first time round. but said the address could not be delivered to. That was untrue and caused my 95 year old MIL to have to wait for her order for 3 weeks. Thankfully you sent out a replacement pair which arrived the very next day - bravo for that.

As far as we know and based on all the tests carried out so far, Heat Holders socks are indeed the warmest thermal socks in the world.

What is a TOG rating?

TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) is an independent laboratory-tested standard for insulation. The higher the TOG rating, the better the product is at keeping you warm. You’ll see TOG ratings applied to duvets and babywear, as well as thermal clothing like Heat Holders.

How warm are Heat Holders Original socks?

As far as we know and have ever tested, all three weights of Heat Holders socks (Original, Lite and Ultra Lite) are the warmest thermal socks in their respective weight/thickness categories.

Our Original socks have a TOG of 2.3, which is 7 x warmer than a basic cotton sock.

We also have our Original Wool socks, with a TOG of 2.7 and our Original Merino Wool socks, with a TOG of 2.9.
